The Difference Between a Fear and a Phobia

Everything in life is learned through experiences of the past that project into the present. Fears are similar to this as fears are learned from experiences in the past that create feelings of fear in the present.

We are only born with 2 fears one of falling the other of loud noises. So as we go forward in life we start to take on experiences some good and some bad, which can be re-triggered by similar experiences in our present situations. For example you might be at a fireworks display and one firework made you jump by its sudden loud noise, now you are scared of the others because of how it made you feel. This could lead into a phobia whereby you don’t want to go to the fireworks display because you are scared of feeling scared.

So a phobia is a fear of a fear. Now there are many different names of phobias and fears and i will list a few below some are linked to everyday life some to business, work and money take a look and see if any fit in with your experiences.
