Hypnosis versus NLP

Hypnosis versus NLP

People often hear the terms hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and can be confused about what they both mean and more importantly the differences that there are between them.

Perhaps it is best to state here that NLP is disguised hypnosis. In NLP you are still in a trance once you start your imagination and it is understood that things are more likely to stick once you are in a submanbolism (deep trance).Hypnosis is different in that it allows you to achieve a clean detox quickly. This is much harder in NLP. Put in its simplest form hypnosis allows you to make changes directly to your sub-concious (many people relate this to making changes to your hard drive in computing terms).

NLP, on the other hand, has no formal induction. It doesn’t use the same tools and techniques as hypnosis, because both your conscious mind and unconscious mind are involved.

Hypnosis is a specific set of tools and techniques to help you enter into a trance-like state (in layman’s terms, your conscious mind goes to sleep).

Alex Maggs-Wellings is expert at using both techniques to solve a range of issues you may face in your everyday life.

Your Mind is 93% Of Your Body

Your Mind is 93% Of Your Body

Often when people talk about body and mind they assume that both entities are completely separate.

Memories are stored only in our mind and pain is felt only in our bodies, right?

Well actually no. We also store memories in our body and most pain or bad feelings are memories that have been stored here.

Through hypnosis and NLP we can show that the mind and body have a significant connection so that when you make changes in the body then everything can change elsewhere, including the mind.

One of the best ways to understand this is to accept that our memories are simply holograms of experiences that we have had. If you can therefore point at a feeling you can change it and therefore make a change to the effect that it is having on your well-being.

By using this technique we are able to make physical changes to the body even though the issues may have occurred through memories which are stored in both body and mind.

How Hypnosis and NLP can really help you

How Hypnosis and NLP can really help you

I am often asked just how can hypnosis and NLP really help you?

Like many things in life it is very often a case of accepting a truth first before being able to make the next move.

Whether we like it or not (and of course we don’t) we gain massive amounts of negatives that store themselves in the body on a day to day basis. These negatives can make us feel unmotivated, unhappy and many other things.

Indeed certain events have higher impact on us and over time they can compound into bigger problems that can lead to health issues, chronic problems, backaches and other emotional based issues.

Most health issues have a repressed emotion as its root cause and if it doesn't go away from typical medical treatment you probably need to see a hypnotist.

It is at this point that the NLP techniques or hypnosis help to provide a detox for body and mind.

As a treatment hypnosis can be used to program your mind and body for success in the future. It can do this by taking a number of actions. Hypnosis can help in the ridding of bad habits. It is also successfully used to help with addictions and also for people to face up to phobias. People who also have issues with weight loss can use these techniques to help deal with the emotional charge connected with it.

NLP and hypnosis can be used day to day to change you state at any given time by just changing your physiology. And in this simple act it allows so much to be achieved, it can remove blocks to success in business of create a rocket that pushes you to your goals.

The anchors provided by NLP are key to helping you to reach any state you want when using them, and this liberation allows you to reach your fullest potential.
